On December 11, 2023, at the military department, under the guidance of a senior lecturer, Lieutenant Colonel of the reserve medical service Matytsin A.V., a conversation was held with students of the curatorial group 4421 «General Medicine» on the topic: «Substance abuse».

The purpose of the event is to consider the current problem of our time, to inform about the effects and consequences of toxic substances on the body, to provide information on the prevention of substance abuse.

Substance abuse negatively affects the health and lives of people who use toxic substances, especially in adolescence, when the body intensively stimulates the processes of growth and puberty. With the help of information, together we can prevent the spread and use of toxic substances, there by ridding citizens who have already started using of mental or physical dependence. The progress of this struggle requires every citizen to participate in the fight against substance abuse.
