Flu remains a serious problem for healthcare systems around the world, despite the achievements of modern medical science and treatment successes. Along with the circulation of influenza, we should also remember about respiratory viruses.
In 2024, On September 5, a round table “Flu, ARVI and Covid-19” was held at Polyclinic No. 1 in Semey. Students of group 5318 of the Faculty of General Medicine reported on the epidemiological situation of influenza, ARVI and Covid-19 in the world.
The speakers of the round table covered modern data on the pathogenesis of influenza, the features of the clinical picture of influenza and its complications. Emphasis was placed on the differential diagnosis of ARVI, influenza and Covid-19, treatment tactics and prevention of these infections in risk groups.
