Since December 23, 2024, exams of the winter session on the “Cellular Metabolism” committee have been held for 1st-year students of the OP “Medicine”, “Pediatrics”, “Dentistry”, “Pharmacy”. At the beginning of the academic year, Syllabuses were approved for all first-year educational programs that have passed the examination; the list of examiners, the list of questions for the OSPE and the oral exam were approved, tickets were prepared in Kazakh, Russian, and English, and exam preparation certificates were drawn up. The summative assessment consists of two stages: the 1st stage is an exam on mastering practical skills. The number of stations on “Cellular metabolism” is 10: molecular biology – 5 stations; biochemistry – 2; histology-1; physiology-1; medical biophysics-1.

On December 26, 2024, the 2nd stage of summative assessment began – the oral exam. Students take an exam on tickets, each ticket contains 6 questions on the case and the integration subjects included in it, a total of 30 tickets. The student was given an answer sheet according to the approved form. The preparation time was 18 minutes, and after the time had elapsed, the students were invited to an interview with the examiners. At each station, the student is given 3 minutes to answer a question. The students’ clockwise movement from one examiner to another is monitored by the teachers on duty.

The examination session continues. The students show good preparation.
