December 10, 2024 senior lecturer of the department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics Tukinova Assel Rishatovna conducted an open class on the discipline “Fundamentals of clinical epidemiology and biostatistics” on the topic “Nonparametric tests for independent samples” for 2nd year students of group 2508.

The class was organized in the format of TBL (team-based learning). During the class the students were familiarized with the goals and objectives of the class, after which they passed the stages of individual testing, group testing, working in teams and final individual testing. The discussion covered the main issues of the topic. The instructor summarized the results of the class, noting the students’ successes and offering recommendations for further study. The use of the TBL method allowed students to show independence, develop teamwork skills and deepen their knowledge of the topic. The class received positive feedback from both students and colleagues who were present as observers. In addition, the class was broadcast live via the Zoom platform.
