In 2024, on August 21, at the Central Station of Ambulance and Emergency Medical Care of the Abay Region, medical workers were trained in diagnostics, clinical presentation, differential diagnosis, treatment and prevention of influenza, ARVI, Covid-19 and pneumonia in adults. During the seminar, clinical syndromes and signs of severe disease, risk factors for severe and complicated course of influenza, Covid-19 and pneumonia were separately covered. The features of the course of respiratory infections in risk groups are analyzed in detail: children under 2 years of age, adults over 65 years of age, pregnant women at any stage and postpartum women within 2 weeks after birth. The section “Influenza and Pregnancy” covered the clinical manifestations of influenza, ARVI, Covid-19 and special instructions for antiviral therapy in pregnant women.
