Tasks, functions
- Training of doctors in the field of health care to provide high-quality medical care;
- Creation of the necessary conditions for the educational process;
The priority activities of the department are educational, scientific and medical work.
In the process of teaching oncology at senior courses, the organization of oncological care for the population, the tactics of a general practitioner in case of suspected malignant neoplasm, screening studies, modern problems of diagnosis, success in treatment, combined and comprehensive programs, palliative care, principles of clinical examination of oncological patients, social and labor rehabilitation and medical and sanitary expertise.The emphasis is still placed on the study of early diagnosis, on which, ultimately, the success of treatment depends. Unfortunately, errors in diagnosis at the outpatient level are quite common, which is associated with a low level of oncological alertness and insufficient knowledge of the early symptoms of malignant tumors.
