Nauryz is a celebration of spring renewal, the beginning of the New Year, coinciding with the day of the vernal equinox. On March 17, 2025, the “Day of Culture and National Traditions” was held at the NAO “Semey Medical University”. The celebration was attended by teachers of the Department of Anatomy, Histology and Topographic Anatomy named after Professor N.A. Khlopov, along with curatorial groups. According to the scenario of the holiday, the teachers and students presented the folk customs and rituals of the Kazakh people: “Kyrkynan shygaru”, “Tusau kesu” and “Tilashar”. Students and teachers demonstrated their musical and dancing talents.
